Terms of Agreement to Receive Services

As Pertains to Partner Agencies & School Districts

  1.  Partner agencies (partners) of Sneakers with Soul (agency) will assist the Agency in identifying eligible children and youth (students) living in poverty and/or participating in state or federally funded free or reduced-cost lunch programs in grades K–12 with footwear needs.

  2. Partners will measure the feet of every student recipient to ensure the sneakers obtained will be of a proper fit.

  3. Partners will work with their respective staff, volunteers, and parents/guardians to completely and accurately complete the online sneaker ordering form provided and maintained by Sneakers with Soul.

  4. Partners will help to promote the work of Sneakers with Soul via Partner’s websites, as well as in social media and in printed materials.

  5. Partners will distribute the new sneakers to students in a manner that honors and respects the dignity of the students and their families.

  6. Partners agree that neither a Partner representative nor the individual sneaker recipient will attempt to sell or transact a sale of sneakers to any student, family, or other third party.  If it is discovered that Partner representatives are selling sneakers, the Agency will, at its discretion, have the option to terminate its programming with Partner.

Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)

Sneakers with Soul® provides high-quality, brand-name sneakers to children and youth living in poverty at no cost to the children/families and partner agencies/school districts served.  Children and youth served are enrolled in grades K through 12 with a racial mix that is predominantly African American/Black, with a growing mix of other racial and ethnic origins.

Sneakers with Soul’s management and members of its Board of Directors believe that the organization has a responsibility, as a social service agency, to serve an increasingly diverse mix of children and youth from all races, religions, gender identities, and socioeconomic backgrounds within the communities it serves. Sneakers with Soul works closely with its partner agencies and school districts to foster a greater understanding of one another. We respect the diversity of our human family in terms of age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical or mental ability, family structure, socioeconomic status, education, political perspective, faith history, and life experiences.​

Use of Personal Images

All rights of every nature whatsoever in and to all still pictures, motion pictures, videotapes, photographs, and sound recordings made hereunder shall be owned by Sneakers with Soul and its successors, assigns, and licensees. Any party now or hereafter having an interest in said property shall have any right of action against Sneakers with Soul or any other party arising out of any use of said still digital imagery, pictures, motion pictures, videotapes, photographs, and or sound recordings.

I acknowledge that engagement with Sneakers with Soul is voluntary; neither I nor any of my representatives, affiliates, or clients/customers will receive financial compensation.

This release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law, and if any portion thereof is held invalid, the balance shall continue in full force and effect. This Release shall be binding on the heirs, executors, administrators, and other parties as they may be assigned.

Agreement to Receive Communications

As a recipient of sneakers from Sneakers with Soul, I agree to receive promotional messages sent via autodialer to facilitate effective two-way communication, which will aid in the continuous improvement of the services provided by our agency.  This agreement isn't a condition of any purchase.  I also agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.  Sneakers with Soul limits its outgoing messages to no more than 4 messages/month.
